Role of the partner: The partner organization will have the following main tasks: 1. To develop the guidebook: “How to detect breakdowns of the rule of law? Citizen’s court watch program”, 2. To conduct a twodays training: “How to detect breakdowns of the rule of law? Citizen’s court watch program”, 3. To facilitate local organizations during the monitoring. 4. To participate in the closing conference with the presentation.

About the organization Court Watch Poland Foundation is a non-for-profit watchdog organization created in 2010 in Torun, Poland to promote and coordinate citizen monitoring of trial courts in the Republic of Poland.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Protection of rights without borders and Court Watch Poland Foundation became partners within the OSCE/ODIHR fair trial annual program, where the organization gather each year to present and to share their best experience and practice on judiciary and rule of law. Since 2013 Protection of rights without borders has engaged in different activities related to the court monitoring using the experience of Court Watch Poland.

Staff deployed within the project Two people from the partner organization will be deployed as experts to develop the guidebook and to conduct the training in Armenia.

GFSIS           Georgian Foundation for Strategic and international Studies

Role of the partner: 1.To localize project activities in Georgia, namely 1.1. To select local organizations for participation in seminars, fieldwork and in the project in general. 1.2. To organize a twodays seminar: “How to detect breakdowns of the rule of law? Citizen’s court watch program” 1.3. To coordinate the work of CSOs on citizens’ court monitoring and on diagnosis of good governance 1.4. To prepare the report on the results of monitoring 1.5.To conduct advocay compaign and other activities indictaed in the project.

About the organization Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies is the independent, non-profit policy think tank organization established in 1998. The organization conducts different research and training activities have a regional agenda. It has experience of joint project implementations in partnership with research and educational institutions both in the region and beyond.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Protection of rights without borders and Georgian Foundation for Strategic and international Studies have built a cooperation within the regional projects, in particular, in 20132014 two organizations successfully have cooperation within the project “Establishment of the independent monitoring mechanism over public administration reforms”. Within this project the evaluation framework including methodology was developed for the first time and applied in Georgia and Armenia by the partner organizations.

Staff deployed within the project Two people will be deployed one as project coordinator, one as a financial officer to coordinate the project and to ensure the effective implementation of the the project activities in Georgia.

    ICDTlogo                       International Centre for Democratic Transition

Role of the partner: The partner organization will have the following main tasks: 1. To share the responsibilities with partner in Slovakia on points 1 and 2. 2. To develop a guide on CONCORD experience “How to conduct evidence based advocacy”. 3. To conduct a one day workshop: “How to conduct evidence based advocacy for the rule of law and good governance”. 4. To participate in the closing conference with the presentation.

About the organization

Previous cooperation with project partner: Protection of rights without borders and International Centre for

Democratic Transition has built cooperation within the development of the project proposal for the EU. Under the project proposal “Capacity Building of CSOs in Armenia while Promoting Innovation”. This project was initiated by the partner organizations; however, it was not funded yet.

Staff deployed within the project Three people will be deployed one as project coordinator, two as experts will ensure the development of the guidebook and conducting trainings in Armenia. 1. “How to conduct evidence based advocacy for the rule of law and good governance” cooperation with Czech partner, 2.“Participatory monitoring and evaluation of good governance: Methodology and instruments” cooperation with Slovak partner, 3.Two-days workshop in Armenia “How to conduct evidence based advocacy for the rule of law and good governance” cooperation with Czech partner, 4. Two-days training on “Participatory monitoring and evaluation of good governance: Methodology and instruments” cooperation with Slovak partner.

Role of the partner: The PDCS’s role in the project will be to: 1.To develop the relevant guidebook: “Participatory monitoring and evaluation of good governance: Methodology and instruments”. 2.To conduct training: “Participatory monitoring and evaluation of good governance: Methodology and instruments”. 3. To participate in the closing conference with the presentation.

About the organization Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia (PDCS) is an independent civic association, working as a nonpartisan non-governmental educational institution within the international network Partners for Democratic Change (PDC). The association was established in 1991.

Previous cooperation with project partner: PDCS, Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia was identified by its Slovakian partner Transparency International Slovakia and was recommended for the effective cooperation around the objectives of this project.

    NROS                                      Civil Society Development Foundation

Role of the partner: 1.To share the responsibilities with Hungarian partner on developing guide “How to conduct evidence based advocacy”. 2. To conduct day workshop “How to conduct evidence based advocacy for the rule of law and good governance”. 3. To facilitate local organizations during advocacy at local level. 4. To participate in closing conference with the presentation.

About the organization Civil Society Development Foundation (Nadace rozvoje občanské společnosti – NROS) is one of the oldest foundations in the Czech Republic dedicated to the promotion of the non-profit sector and the development of civil society. The organization was established in 1993.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Civil Society Development Foundation was identified as a partner by the Hungarian partner of the project which has llong standing experience within the CONCORD. This is is the European confederation of Relief and Development NGOs, where the Civil Society Development Foundation has a work experience and will assist in transfering this experience in the EaP region.
